Watch question

Do people spend more time actively searching for cool things to post on Twitter or are they really "stumbling" upon these things in their spare reading?

And who has time to find it? My RSS reader is so daunting that I never want to open it because I'll be there all day. Plus, they say RSS is dead because Twitter has taken over the purpose i.e., finding the "best of the web", but if that's the case how are people finding the links they're posting on Twitter?
I have answered your question with not one, but two questions.

I'm completely obsessed with my rss reader (google reader). The feeds that I follow through both RSS and Twitter are always much richer and easier to digest in reader form, and I try to keep up with it not just so have have cool things to post, but so I have interesting things to think and talk about in real life. The posting is an aside.

But maybe I'm just weird.
